Short biography
As the Team Manager of Rijnstate Center Oncology Research, I bring extensive experience in designing and conducting clinical research and data collection. My role involves overseeing various research projects, ensuring they align with Rijnstate’s focus on Value-Based Healthcare and leveraging our expertise with AI-based Clinical Data Collectors.
Contribution to ONCOVALUE Research
In the ONCOVALUE project, I focus on collaborating with the Netherlands Cancer Institute (NKI) to design and execute pilot studies, aiming to validate an AI-based Clinical Data Collector for both structural and non-structural data. Our primary emphasis is on breast and lung cancer patients, with invaluable contributions from oncologist Rutger Koornstra, pulmonologist Anne Bressers, and the Business Intelligence & Data Analytics department.
Our goal is to use real-world data, focusing on patient outcomes and experiences, to continuously improve care. The ONCOVALUE project offers a significant opportunity to enhance cancer care quality, delivering more value to patients.
