About Wim
I act as co PI within the NKI (Netherlands Cancer Institute) and supervise the two phD candidates as first and second supervisor. This project fits within my focus on early stage- and dynamic technology assessment as working with real world data will become increasingly important.
Research focus
Collaboration is key in our research efforts, working closely with the Digital Oncology team at NKI, the ONCOVALUE consortium, international groups, and institutions within the OECI Working Group on Health Economics.
The primary challenge we face in ONCOVALUE is effectively mining and organizing data from various sources and databases while ensuring compliance with data protection regulations.
By participating in the ONCOVALUE Consortium, my aspiration is to contribute valuable insights that can enhance decision-making in oncology, ultimately improving patient outcomes and resource allocation.
