Short biography

I am a PhD student at The Netherlands Cancer Institute (NKI), working within the research group led by Professors Wim van Harten and Valesca Retèl. With a background in Pharmacy and Health Economy, my focus lies in utilizing Real-World Evidence (RWE) to enhance Decision-Making for Health Technology Assessment (HTA).

Contribution to ONCOVALUE Research

In the ONCOVALUE project, I focus on Work Package 2: ‘Future-proof HTA framework based on hybrid RWD collection‘, examining the role of hospital-based Real-World Evidence (RWE) in Health Technology Assessment (HTA). I explore the ethical, legal, and social issues (ELSI) related to our research, working both independently and collaboratively.

As a member of the ONCOVALUE Consortium, I aim to advance our understanding of real-world hospital data, value assessment, and healthcare outcomes, providing insights to influence oncology decision-making and improve patient outcomes and healthcare practices.
